The SGFC Tuna Slam will take place throughout the entire months of June, July and August.
Boundaries are bordered by ‘Delta’ to the North and below ‘Zulu’ to the South on the Central Zone grid chart i.e. North to latitude 33” 05′ and South to latitude 34” 55′ – with no limit to the days you may fish.

Entry: $250 per boat regardless of the number of anglers – boats must be registered before heading to sea to compete.

Prizes: The pool starts with $2,300.00 not won last year…
40% of the entry pool to the heaviest Blue Fin
40% to heaviest other tuna and remainder to the Club
Boundaries:
North to Latitude – 33.05.000
South to Latitude – 34.55 000
Please note eligible tuna must conform to NSWGFA rules i.e. they must be at least equal in weight to the line class used.

There are proposals to upgrade the Watsons bay Ferry wharf, the Sydney Game Fishing Club’s future existence on the Watsons bay Ferry wharf is under threat.
It is most important that everyone fill in the questionnaire to tell the powers that be we must me included in any of their future plans.
High importance be clear to put in your response that you want Sydney game fishing club must remain on the Watsons Bay Wharf

Next club meeting 15th November at SGFC Clubhouse 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Project Kingfish will be the topic.
Guest speakers will be the scientists along with a surprise speaker on the night
Project kingfish will run over a couple of months all details will be provided at the meeting then later posted on Facebook and sgfc website
The event will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022, commencing at 1230 hours.
Luncheon will be the usual with Doyle’s providing pre-packaged individual containers and side salads. The bar service will be available and all other amenities will be as usual. (Are we all ever pleased to see some normality back into our lives ).
It would be appreciated if advice on your ability to attend could be sent to the undersigned by Friday, November 18, 2022, for catering reasons.
